On June 3, 2022,
Officials and Staff of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE), its Bureau of Employment, Promotion and Welfare (BEPW), And the International Labour Organization (ILO) discussed the project on ending or reducing Child Labor which is an ongoing project in the BARMM government.
 
The ILO also discussed its Water System project with MOLE Minister Muslimin Sema. ILO staff explained that the ILO wants a holistic approach in providing skills training to the parents of children who were forced to work.
