The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE), through its Bureau of Labor Relations and Standards (BLRS) in partnership with Bangsamoro Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (BARMM-READi) under the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG), conducted an Orientation Seminar on Emergency Disaster Control Program for MOLE Employees and Private Establishments on May 11, 2022 at EM Manor Hotel, Cotabato City.
Among the participating private establishments from Cotabato City and Maguindanao province were MLhuillier, SMR Construction, ABS Safety Management Training Center, and KC Bakeshop and Fastfood.
This orientation seminar was conducted to prepare the participants in managing or enduring the impact of emergencies, disasters and crises.
In his message, MOLE Minister Muslimin G. Sema said that the workers must be protected from injury, sickness, and death. The workplace must be safe and in a healthy working condition.
